How does it Work?

Once we have verified your hotel, we then add a small widget in your current hotel website. If you do not have a website we can create a web page for your hotel at a very competitive rate. When prospective customers click on the form they will be transferred to our secure HBOOK system from where the reservation process begins.

How will I be notified that a reservation has been made?

Once a reservation has been confirmed you will be instantly notified via e-mail, FAX and by SMS directly to your mobile.

Can I customise the check-out page that my customers will see during the reservation process?

Yes! We offer more than 9 colour themes. You can choose any theme you wish so that it matches the style of your hotel.

How secure is the reservation process?

In one word, very.  All communication between your customers and HBOOK are encrypted using a Thawte SSL certificate. HBOOK is one of the few online reservation systems that have passed the PCI compliance certification, put in place by VISA and MasterCard. In addition, our servers are audited regularly by COMODO in order to achieve the highest level of security. We also do NOT store your customers’ credit card details, so even in the remote possibility that our system becomes compromised, you can rest assured that your customers’ private information is safe.

What languages does HBOOK support?

The check-out system supports English, French, Italian, German, Greek, and Russian languages. In addition to that within the next few months we will be rolling out support for Spanish.

How long does it take for you to set-up the system? When will I be ready to receive online reservations?

Once we have verified the existence of the hotel and the lawful affiliation of the applicant, your system will be ready within 2 business days.

In case that I have chosen to charge my customers a deposit during the online reservation stage, how will the funds be transferred to me?

You will receive the deposit monthly at the 27nth of each month. During your application , you will provide us with a checking account where we will transfer the funds to you. Alternatively you can provide a PayPal or similar account.

From past experience, I know that my hotel is fully booked in certain periods. Can I block those periods in HBOOK so that it will not accept any reservations?

Yes! You have complete control over the functionality of the system.

What types of credit cards will I be able to accept?

HBOOK currently accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
